At this week's 'Open Mic' Script & Story Workshop:
Writer/producer Shantell Ogden attended the LA Vertical Market last week, which spotlighted creating ‘verticals.’ Verticals are scripted episodic series filmed vertically (9:16) aspect ratio in fast-paced segments that last between 1-3 minutes each. Shantell will share some of her key takeaways with us.
Also, TSA board member Daniel Spear attended the Good Word Writers Retreat in Patmos, Greece for an intensive week of 1:1 workshops, roundtables, and writing exercises. Daniel will brief us on the tips, tricks, and advice he picked up at the retreat.
We’ll also spend a few minutes updating members on the program for Script-Com and other upcoming TSA happenings. If you haven’t been to an in-person meeting in a while, now is the time to pay us a visit!
