About the event
For over 30 years, Charlie Vignola served as a key development executive for Jerry Bruckheimer Films, most recently as Director of Development. During this tenure, he helped shape some of the world’s most successful franchises, including Pirates of the Caribbean, National Treasure, Bad Boys, and the Oscar-nominated Top Gun: Maverick.
His expertise spans the entire creative process, from nascent concept to green-lit screenplay, including uncredited production rewrites on several blockbuster hits.
Beyond his executive role, Charles is also an accomplished screenwriter who has set up a dozen projects at major studios like Disney, Sony, and MGM.
Since 2020, he has focused on writing and producing original material, and launched ScriptGenius, a professional script consulting service designed to help the next generation of aspiring screenwriters get their material industry-ready.
