Script School Project Deadlines Are Coming Up!

ree

Students in TSA’s Script School program have been working on their scripts since mid-February and the goal for the program was to complete a first draft of a new feature-length spec screenplay by the end of the year.

Here are the latest updates on the program as it begins to wind down for 2025:

  • Sunday Script School. There will be two more sessions for students seeking help or advice on their class projects - Oct. 19 and Nov. 2 at 4:00 pm central via Zoom.

  • ‘Honor Roll’ deadline is Nov. 3. Students who submit a completed first draft of their class project by November 3 will receive an “honor roll” award at TSA’s awards dinner program at Script-Com the evening of November 15. The submission link is below and Honor Roll students are eligible for consideration in TSA’s mentorship program in 2026.

  • ‘Final Exam’ deadline is Dec. 8. The final deadline for Script School 2025 is December 8. Students who meet this deadline will be honored at TSA’s Annual Meeting in mid-December and will still receive consideration for next year’s mentorship program.

Students may submit class project scripts via email using the link below. Please include your script's title, your name, your contact phone number, your script's logline (30 words or less) and list any lab partners you've had through the program.

There are no plans for TSA to read or give notes on the submissions at this time. We are only seeking to verify that you have completed the program.

Please direct all questions related to Script School to TSA's Education Director, Bob Giordano.
