Silly Script Gets a Table Read!

The winning script from TSA's Short 'N Silly contest got the table read treatment at Nashville Film Institute when Jason Allen's "The Putt Putt Preacher" was performed by actors from the 4th Wall Acting Studio.

After the read, Jason was awarded a trophy and talked about what motivated him to write the script, which is framed as a mockumentary about a pious preacher who finds peace and salvation through putt-putt golfing. Jason's script, along with the other contest finalists, is available to read in TSA's Member Portal.

TSA would like to thank all the writers who entered the contest, our panel of judges, contest manager Daniel Spear, our member volunteers, and our friends at 4th Wall Acting Studio who brought Jason's script to life.
